Made famous by the Nathaniel Hawthorne gothic novel of the same name, The House of The Seven Gables in Salem Massachusetts is a 17th Century colonial mansion surrounded by history, mystery and intrigue. With a beautiful seaside setting, it is one of the most loved historic homes in the USA, the house was built by merchant and ship owner Captain John Turner in 1668 and has changed hands and been extensively restored many times over the years. Now a museum, this beautiful landmark is open for the public to explore it's many hidden nooks and crannies including a secret staircase and enjoy the history of this fascinating building. House of the Seven Gables Salem Massachusetts has added textures to complete the nostalgic feel.
