Description
Since I just posted an image of a Cardinal Airplant, it seemed right o submit a Northern Cardinal right after it. This one was shot in the Mulberry Bush at the end of the pond out my back door. It saw that I saw him and looked quickly for an escape path and flew off just after this.
I find that the Cardinalis cardinalis rarely perches in full sunlight. And that makes sense since it has so many predators and they do not have much power to blend in with their surroundings
