Description

I am reading the book Opening Heavens Door by Patricia Pearson, in one section she reports on several studies that are trying to determine the whereabouts of the soul within the human body. This got me to thinking, and I decided for myself, that the soul is not in me but rather I am within my soul. So to do a painting of souls I thought of the lava lamp and the ever changing shapes that rise slowly to the top and after a while come back down again. My thought is that my soul lives forever and when I die it rises to the top only to come back down again to occupy another human, in this way my soul if forever gaining compassion for life.
