depicted is a bull bison in an apparent altercation with a prairie dog-- maybe the diminutive rodent was almost stepped on, but the bison is certainly hearing about it now. symbiotic for all of history, each specie once numbered in the billions across north america. now of course bison are intensively managed and not able to fulfill their historic migratory ecological niche, and prairie dogs are cruelly persecuted for digging holes and simply because they make amusing targets for nimrods.
